Jeezy came out to The LIGHT Vegas nightclub for the first Friday of March Madness weekend. Here’s the recap for those of you not lucky enough to be there.
The LIGHT Vegas has some of the best names in hip hop performing at the nightclub each and every weekend. The first weekend of March Madness was no exception. Everyone knows March Madness opening weekend is one of the best weekends to party in Las Vegas. You had the chance to see hip hop legend Jeezy at the best nightclub on the strip if you were in town for the games!
Jeezy came out and performed some of his best hits like “Bang,” “Go Crazy,” “My hood,” and “Pile Up.” He is a LIGHT resident in 2019 so this won’t be the only time he is out here, but that doesn’t mean you didn’t miss out!
Jeezy began his music career in 2001 with the release of his debut album Thuggin’ Under the Influence. Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, his first solo album under Bad Boy Records, was released in 2005 under the Boyz in da Hood label. Its lead single”Soul Survivor,” which features Akon, became a Top 10 hit. His second and third releases, The Inspiration in 2006 and The Recession in 2008 — both yielded chart-topping singles as well.
Jeezy has also been featured on several hip hop and R&B hit singles, such as “Say I” by Christina Milian, “I’m So Paid” by Akon, “Hard” by Rihanna and “Love in This Club” by Usher which reached No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 2008.
He is credited with pioneering “trap music” along with a few other southern rappers from Atlanta. Don’t miss Jeezy coming back later this year!
