March is a great month. With the tournament about to be in full swing, and everyone in school getting off for spring break, there aren’t many better times to be in Las Vegas than right now.

We’re also turning way up with some excellent shows planned for the near future, and Southside got a little extra during his appearance on March 10.

Todd Anthony Shaw, better known by the stage name Too $hort, came to LIGHT and gave the lucky audience a show.

Too Short came with the evening’s headliner, Southside of 808 Mafia. They know each other from Atlanta, where Too $hort lived for 15 years.

While surveying the venue, Too $hort wandered into the service well and ended up ordering a personalized cocktail: 2 shots of Don Julio Blanco on the rocks, 3 limes squeezed in (and tossed) and topped with OJ. He claims this is his favorite way of drinking tequila.

Too $hort took the stage with a surprise performance where he sang a few songs, including his hit single, “Blow the Whistle.”

Around 12:45 a.m., Metro Boomin, also came in. He ended up DJing alongside Southside.
